Cash Sprint
Dear players!
You are invited to take part in a new promotion from Pari-Match Poker - Cash Sprint. This Sprint is based on your financial indicators (size of the commission charged to you while playing at Pari-Match Poker in terms of a certain number of points) achieved by you during the promotion period. The most active players will receive guaranteed cash prizes to their accounts. One of the main features of this Sprint is that it is based on share participation of its representatives and Pari-Match Poker. Absolutely all active individuals of Pari-Match Poker - partners, club and non-club players - can become participants in this Sprint. Thus, the total prize fund of this Sprint is made up of contributions from partners and players, as well as from additional guaranteed payment from Pari-Match Poker. Below you can read more about the prize fund formation mechanism.
The prize fund formation mechanism from partners and their players.
This mechanism is divided into two components:
- Contributions by the partner who wishes himself and his players to participate in this Sprint;
- Contributions from the partners’ players who wish to participate in this Sprint.
Let’s consider the contributions from the partners. As an active Cash Sprint participant (on request), a partner puts a certain amount of money in total prize fund. Partners benefit is that, with minimal investments, they stimulate the increase in gaming activity of their players, which ultimately leads to win on both sides: partners and their players.
Contributions from the partners’ players who wish to participate in this Sprint. If partners’ players want to participate in the Sprint they for their part should make a share in the formation of a common prize pool. This share is 3% of the financial indicators of the player (size of the commission charged to you while playing at Pari-Match Poker) made up to the month preceding the month of the Sprint. An example. Financial indicators of player in March 2009 amounted to $2000. Pari-Match Poker Sprint is held in April 2009. Thus, in order to qualify for an increased prize pool (the structure of payments will be shown below), the player must contribute: $2000 * 3/100 = $60. Contributing a share from their financial indicators the player raises his game activity, and it easily covers its costs. The contributions will be deducted from the player's Cash Back bonus on the basis of the calculation period (from the bonuses paid by Pari-Match Poker on 1st of the following month).
Note: The terms of this Sprint include participation of completely new players (the player who previously did not play at Pari-Match Poker, and are registered in the month, when the Sprint is held). Inactive players (players who have registered in the Pari-Match Poker least one month before the start of the race, but did not receive any FPP points - Frequent Player Points for their performance in the month preceding the race) are also equated to the status of "newcomers". To participate in the Sprint, new and inactive players must complete the appropriate application for participation on Pari-Match Poker Club site. It should also be noted that a player can join the Sprint at any stage. Calculations of contributions will be based on financial indicators of "newcomers" on the basis of the month in which Sprint is held. The calculation of these contributions will be equal to 3% of their indicators. Example: the player's financial results amounted to $3000 - $90 (3%) is taken from the player.
Note: all the money that will be obtained through contributions from partners and their players will go to the formation of a common prize pool, along with guaranteed payments from Pari-Match Poker.
Payout Structure
The proposed payment structure depends solely on the prize fund formation mechanism, i.e. contributions of partners and their players (guaranteed payments from Pari-Match Poker comes unchanged and do not affect Payout Structure). Let’s consider the given scheme in details.
Players and partners, making their contributions to build a prize fund, become active participants in the Sprint and may be eligible for one or other cash payouts, which would correspond to a particular place, which the player will take in the Sprint. At the same time cash payouts to players and partners will directly depend on the collected pool. The main feature of the payout structure is that the player receives 100% of the prize, he posited for a place taken in the Sprint. Partner receives 15% of the cash payouts, which come to the player’s account. Consider in more detail the situation on an example. Assume that the collected pool (joint contributions of players, partners and guaranteed payments from Pari-Match Poker) for participants in one category or another (the structure of the prize fund will be described below) is $10000. The player takes 1st place in this category. Suppose that for 1st place in this case the player is entitled to $3000 (the pattern of distribution of cash payouts to players who took prize places, see below). Amount of $3000 goes to the player's account. Partner in this case assumed 15% of $3000, which is $450. This amount will be received by a partner. The above example clearly shows that this scheme takes into account the interests of players and partners. The table below presents the payout structure, which clearly shows it is necessary to make appropriate contributions to be eligible to receive cash payouts.
Table 1. Payout structure
| Player’s contribution (3% of his financial indicators), yes/no | Partner’s contribution, yes/no | Percent of prize payout to a player, % | Payout to a partner (15% of player’s payout), yes/no |
|---|---|---|---|
| Yes | Yes | 100 | Yes |
| Yes | No | 100 | No |
| No | Yes | 0 | Yes |
| No | No | 0 | No |
Prize fund structure
This Sprint is aimed to scope maximum possible audience of players. It can engage players with different levels and with different capabilities. The interests of all players would be absolutely respected. This is done to ensure that there are no situations in which the stronger player (the player with much higher financial indicators than the other players) certainly is the favorite and the winner. To this end, players with different indicators will be divided into certain groups. Separate Cash Sprint will be held within these groups. So the competition will be between players with about the same possibilities and performance. This should lead to increased interest among the participants of the Sprint - the partners and their players. The index of player activity that they have received for the month preceding the Sprint will be used as the main indicator for dividing players by certain groups. Thus, the total prize fund will be divided into 5 separate prize funds, each of which will qualify players with different indexes of activity. Let’s consider a more detailed breakdown of the players, depending on the index of activity:
- Players with index of activity from 1 to 5 – Bronze Cash Rating;
- Players with index of activity from 6 to 9 – Silver Cash Rating;
- Players with index of activity from 10 to 14 – Gold Cash Rating;
- Players with index of activity from 15 to 17 – Platinum Cash Rating;
- Players with index of activity from 18 to 19 – Diamond Cash Rating.
Each group will be provided with a separate prize pool that will be increased from the group «Bronze Cash Rating» up to the group «Diamond Cash Rating». Thus, the higher the group - the greater the prize, player can count on.
Note: The "newcomers" and "inactive players" are involved in the distribution of the prize pool, which they claimed at the conclusion of the Sprint. Example: if a player at the conclusion of the Sprint has activity index equal to "17", then he will refer to the group «Platinum Cash Rating».
Terms of scoring in the Sprint
Three main indicators will be used for scoring:
- Activity index of player at the Sprint start time;
- Coefficient corresponding to the index of activity;
- Financial indicators of player per day.
Consider the first indicator in more detail. This figure varies throughout the entire calendar month and depends on the amount of FPPs, earned by the player. Assume that the Sprint starts on the 15th of any month. Activity index for the player's first day of the Sprint was 14. Thus, when calculating the first day of the race, its current activity index - the 14th will be taken into account. Suppose that the next day the player's activity index rose to 15-th - means it will be taken into account when calculating the points for the next day. This suggests that by the beginning of the Sprint each player’s advantage to have the highest activity index, as his score depends on this directly. Below is a table of indexes of activity and their corresponding coefficients.
Table 2. Indexes of activity and their corresponding coefficients
| Activity index | Coefficient |
|---|---|
| 1 | 1 |
| 2 | 1.2 |
| 3 | 1.4 |
| 4 | 1.6 |
| 5 | 1.8 |
| 6 | 2 |
| 7 | 2.2 |
| 8 | 2.4 |
| 9 | 2.6 |
| 10 | 2.8 |
| 11 | 3 |
| 12 | 3.2 |
| 13 | 3.4 |
| 14 | 3.6 |
| 15 | 3.8 |
| 16 | 4 |
| 17 | 4.2 |
| 18 | 4.4 |
| 19 | 4.6 |
| Bonus level of activity - 20 (achieved under the condition that the player generated more than 150000 FPP points) | 5 |
Note: the 20th level of activity (achieved, provided that the player generate more than 150000 points - Frequent Player Points (FPPs)) is entered to stimulate the players. This level of activity corresponds to the maximum bonus rate that is equal to "5".
When calculating the points per the day the following formula is used:
points per day = coefficient corresponding to the index of player activity per day * player’s financial indicator per day
Consider this on example. Financial indicators of player are $300 per day. Its index of activity in that day was equal to 14. Coefficient of 3.6 corresponds to this index of activity. Thus, the player will receive the following points for that day: 300 * 3.6 = 1080. Points earned by player for each day will be added for the entire period of the Sprint. It should be noted that every single day - is a separate set-off. When closing the final outcome, it will be taken into account the amount of points for each day, rather than the final (total) financial result of the player, multiplied by a coefficient corresponding to the index of activity of player at the end of the Sprint.
Distribution of cash payouts between players.
This structure depends on the number of participants who took part in the Sprint in one group or another. This scheme is similar to the tournaments payout structure.

Projected prize pools for each group of participants
$25,000 in guaranteed prize money is allocated by Pari-Match Poker for this Sprint. This pool is not final and may be revised upward. Estimated duration of the promotion - the last 2 calendar weeks of each month. Contributions from the partners and their players will be been added to the guaranteed pool - that will make the final prize pool. Below is a table (with contributions from the partners and their players), which shows the projected prize pool for each of the groups of players participating in the Sprint. It should be noted that percentages of the guaranteed prize pool from Pari-Match Poker which will go to the formation of prize pools for each group are listed in the following table.
Table 4. The projected value of prize pool for each group of players participating in the Sprint
| Name of group | Percentage of guaranteed prize pool from Pari-Match Poker, % | Guaranteed prize pool from Pari-Match Poker ($25000), $ | Total projected prize pool, $ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze Cash Rating | 3.75 | 937.5 | Guaranteed payouts from Pari-Match Poker + contributions of partners/players of current group |
| Silver Cash Rating | 8.75 | 2187.5 | Guaranteed payouts from Pari-Match Poker + contributions of partners/players of current group |
| Gold Cash Rating | 22.5 | 5625 | Guaranteed payouts from Pari-Match Poker + contributions of partners/players of current group |
| Platinum Cash Rating | 27.5 | 6875 | Guaranteed payouts from Pari-Match Poker + contributions of partners/players of current group |
| Diamond Cash Rating | 37.5 | 9375 | Guaranteed payouts from Pari-Match Poker + contributions of partners/players of current group |
Note: $25000 is allocated by Pari-Match Poker. The remaining prize pools of each fund will be displayed at the Pari-Match Poker Club to the extent of their replenishment in the form of contributions from the partners and their players. $25000 is distributed among groups in the percentages shown in the table. $25000 will be added to contributions of members (partners and players) of a certain group. Thus, the prize pool of each group is calculated as follows: the percentage of a certain group of the guaranteed prize pool from Pari-Match Poker plus contributions of partners and players. Consider this as an example. Pari-Match Poker allocates $6875 for «Platinum Cash Sprint» group. Partners and players of the group contributed another $6000. The total prize pool for this group will be equal to $12875 accordingly.
Dear partners and their players! We are ready to consider any of your suggestions and proposals.
